Fatema Anwar
Fatema graduated from the University of London with Honours in 1996 and was called to the Bar from the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in 1997. She was admitted as an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh in 1999. In 2008, Fatema completed acclaimed training on international joint ventures, international securities in movables, international protection of intellectual property rights, international civil procedure and international insolvency proceedings at The Hague Academy of International Law, The Hague, Netherlands. Fatema represents number of multinational companies ranging from telecom to FMCG and global logistic firms. She is a regular practitioner in the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. Fatema is focusing in the areas of Corporate and Commercial, Joint Ventures, Constitutional, Employment, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Intellectual Property, Real Estate, Shipping, logistics. Inter alia.
Mohammad Nurul Islam Masood
Nurul is one of the founding partners and also the Administrative Director and Chief Executive of DCLE and Chambers. He holds Business degrees with specialization in International Trade & Finance in addition to law. He leveraged his experience to help CIMA-UK to launch its first program in Bangladesh circa 1998. Nurul taught Tax, Audit, International Business and Management Finance to students from discipline of CIMA and BBA Programs before embarking his journey as the Principal of Dhaka Center for Law & Economics. As a business and regulatory consultant with the Chamber, Nurul assists clients in setting up businesses in Bangladesh, preparing project proposals, financial models and analysis, supports clients with all types of land registration and regulatory and compliance matters, negotiations and legal due diligence. He is also responsible for the two other limbs of DCLE – the Corporate Professional Trainings and Education.
